Fröhliche Weihnachten! (2019)

A year ago at Christmas time, we knew of our tiny human, but hardly anyone else did.
He was truly tiny at that point:
Since then, much has happened and through a wonderful birth, we can now hold him in our arms and he continues to grow famously ;)
In preparation for this year's Christmas celebrations, I made and wrote multiple dozens of Christmas cards,
we got a tree (Theta helped, see?)
and decorated it
Our tree was the bushiest one there:
"They told me I could be anything, so I became a hedge" :)
and I also very much enjoyed this video about the Nativity story.
Then on Sunday, F read the Christmas story during church (including Simeon + Anna's witnesses of Christ in Luke 2) and we sang a duet of "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" (Lo how a rose e're blooming).
3 of our nativities: 2 traditionally German +
1 made + mailed to me by my family while I was on my mission here in Germany :)
And now we are home, enjoying our first Christmas as a threesome. We are celebrating on the 24th, as is tradition in Germany. F is currently preparing the stuffing for our duck. Yum! As we have an infant (although pretty sure he's a bit bigger than Baby Jesus was at birth....), we decided to take this photo.
Merry Christmas! Fröhliche Weihnachten! May you feel the love of our heavenly parents, shown through the gift of their son, Jesus! (We can certainly understand the love of parents on a whole new level)
