What's been in store in 2024? Part 2 (eating, crafting + building)

Here are some of our eating, crafting + building highlights for the year :)

We love building with celery!

Theta can build with big things
and small things (magnet letters in this case)
We made a ball track in the sandbox
At Kiel Week we got to paint some of the temporary wooden structures they build for the week-long festival.
Then there's a tunnel of fabric strips to be added to + run through :)
In Calgary we went to various museums
and the awesome central library
In Oregon we enjoyed some tasties in a giant lodge on a mountain
And created some funky dinosaurs at the local public library
Beautiful circular rocks from a friend's collection
Cool fractals at the science museum (Universeum) in Göteborg, Sweden
Some lovely street art across the way
Theta and Opa carved a jack-o-lantern
We enjoyed ice cream at the ice cream place with the cat robots! (meow!)
Theta + Opa painting chairs (I added the little whimsy to the chair for the  silent auction at the school bazaar)
More crafting for the bazaar

Some of my chalkboard drawings in the 5th grade
My classroom's nature table is ready for Christmas
Some star ornaments I made
Would you like a new pair of glasses?
