I've noticed that some people smile mostly with their eyes, whereas others smile mostly with their mouths. I actually noticed this during high school. As you walk down the hall and do the quick 'hello-in-passing' smile, then some seem to just do the eyes, and others just the mouth of the smile. And then there's the physiological side of it, that some people smile more with their upper teeth, others with both top and bottom equally visible. Presumably some smile and just show their lower teeth..I don't remember having seen it, but I don't know why it couldn't happen :) Some mouths seem to actually curve up, whereas others just get wider ;) like mine :D haha. Hooray for individuality.

Or some people smile and don't open their lips. It's just a lip smile. When I was younger (in 7th grade to 9th) and i had braces, I mainly just smiled with my lips in pictures, because I was always worried that the flash would reflect off my braces and ruin the picture. That may have been an irrational fear now that i reflect on that...:) I have a few pictures of me with the not-too-energetic lip smile, because if it was too energetic with closed lips (and braces making bumps through my skin) that would've looked funny. Haha. Such memories we have of ourselves.
But overall, I love smiles. They make me so happy! Sometimes I play a little game with myself to see how many people I can get to smile by smiling at them. Not that I count per se, but it amuses me to see some people really surprised into smiling by my smile. Others don't really seem to respond. But others smile back cheerfully. Hooray!I love that smiles are contagious. I often try to be the giver, but I've also been the receiver of a cheering smile every once and a while. It's lovely. I'm pretty sure they release positive endorphins and whatnot, helping you physiologically to be happier too. But whatever the case is, I love smiles and I love smiling :D Hooray! :) :D
