Crazy, Curly hair in Copenhagen

(or an alternative title: "We just keep returning...: Kopenhagen 2016")

Here's one of my favorite shots from this trip:
Anyway, you may have noticed that temples** from our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) occasionally feature in our posts.

We had been temple workers in the Frankfurt Temple, but, because it is currently closed for renovation, we were released from this calling/assignment. Then we got called as temple workers for the Copenhagen temple several months ago, but hadn't yet made it up there.

Then we spied a free Saturday in our calender (a rarity! what with school events, choir practices, stake youth activities, etc.). Let's go!

So, we invited some friends, another German-North-American couple, and drove the 4 hours north (including the hour ferry ride) in Frederiksberg (the Danes know how to spell it right :) ), just outside of Copenhagen.
Yay! Someone waved!
And on the way back, we had fun with the wind :)
I got some real Medusa hair going on there...and then I disappeared briefly --
perhaps Perseus with his shield?
Oh look! I'm back!
Her longer hair, when helped along, could be epic!
Most often a few strands decided to dance or reach for the heavens :)
Are words even needed here?
Okay...maybe we need some here. Perhaps he didn't bite my tongue, because my hair attacked him first?
Who knows. Then it turned on me -- help!
We may get some more photos from this trip. We shall see...Enjoy!

**We go to temples to enter into further covenants with God and perform service for our ancestors. That is also where we can get married or "sealed" for eternity :). You can go here for more information about temples and their history. And here for the difference between temples and Sunday meetinghouses, the latter of which we often call "chapels".

p.s. We've managed to get up to the Copenhagen Temple once a year for the past several years.

2014
2015 (we were both there, but with a huge group of youth, so we didn't get a joint photo in front of the temple, but there's the palace in Copenhagen)
