Like with chalk (post is up-and-coming) + pointillism, scribbles can be very forgiving. There are no definitive and perhaps falsely-placed lines, but instead scribbles that can be joined by more scribbles if the curve, for example, was too small :)
Here is a lake in Norway.
And a photo of the view as well.
These are of the beach, where the Kieler Förde meets the Baltic Sea.
One large kite blowing in the wind...
These ones I drew on the way home from choir practice in Hannover, some trees, a windmill, clouds and the road disappearing into the distance.
This one I drew this past summer in Plön. We had gone to the beach and here I drew during a break in the shade :) You can see a part of the roof next door. I enjoy drawing trees, foliage, growing things.
We went to an organ concert for F's birthday and I drew the front of the chapel. There I was reminded of my preference for foliage -- once I got to the vases of flowers it felt like returning to a good friend, a scribbly old friend :)
It reminds me of one of my favorite children's books: Ish, by Peter H. Reynolds. It makes me think of not taking myself so seriously + being patient with myself, and in this case with my art skills :)

| Not too shabby :) It looks like I did retain a thing or two about cross-hatching from my Drawing class at BYU :) |
