7:00 Woke --without my alarm. Which is quite good because I went to bed at 11:20 and I'll be needing to shift that to 10:30 and 6:30 for my mission. I'm heartened :) Feeling weak again but my body is more accustomed to the weakness. My nose is a bit runny--but I think that's my body trying to detox, so that's good. I brought a pillow for my achy back, and we'll hope it helps. My last day at the Institute of Health Metrics. Also, this morning and yesterday morning I noticed a slight soreness on the roof of my mouth. Something akin to too much citrus--esp. sucking on Vitamin C, but not quite. Just tender.
10:15 yup--more strength or more accustomed to weakness because i am able to sit up and therefore my back doesn't hurt so much. I think the pillow helps a bit too :) And more sneezing and nose running. I guess it's really in cleaning mode. Good! (And see? I'm being productive and not checking in as often :) )
10:50 didn't actually need gum, but put it in because I remembered I had it
12:12 as I try and tie up loose ends, I realize I'm going to have more than enough to keep me here till 6 ;)
1:15 occasionally there are hunger pangs..or feelings nigh unto them. Not quite the same, but a sense of emptiness down there ;) Just had to write an invoice for the first time in my life... :D And stopped chewing gum b/c Wrigley's loses its flavor way too fast. I don't know where my 'long lasting flavor' gum is. Somewhere at home.
2:20 I am waning somewhat..but it's my last day and I've lots left to do. Occasionally I need to lean on one arm of the other, and there's the occasional headache. but i'm still all right ;) (and i thought i was holding out longer..and now it's hour chunks at least..over 1/2 hour..)
And I've had Mexican food (like at Cafe Rio) and just now barbequed chicken (like the Hardys make) desires..ah well.
And then sometimes I'll notice that I don't feel hungry. Not really at all. It feels like normal 'in between meals' time. How fascinating!
Sometimes I notice my heart beating faster though..for really no reason. Interesting. I think I read about that happening, but still a bit odd. It did so last night too, as I was going to sleep.
4:45 okay, I really am waning..but I am determined to make it to 5:55 :) another hour, I can do it. Just rest on one elbow or the other while I type..
5:56 and I officially close up from work with a beating heart. (i guess that's good--i'm still alive, right? haha)
