Nahahi Creek

F, F's sister and I went on a hike to Nahahi Creek though I don't know if I actually ever remembered the name of the hike while we were hiking..Nahoohoo? Nahaya? Nahama'mama? Ah well.

The hike was flat for the most part, with some steeper climbing just at the end, but we were rewarded with a wonder.

The river had carved the rock into wonderful curves and caverns. This did, however, mean that the river had also left places for water and snow to gather, so sometimes we had to cross these areas on logs. I'm proud to report that each of us only fell in the snow once or twice and we completely avoided falling in the water.

Yoga also had to be done--I've taken to doing yoga in all sorts of picturesque places..so far in different states, countries and even on different continents!

And we made it out alive! My simple green mittens also proved useful in their ambidexterity..we could just pass them along to the next person who needed to cross the log and hold on to the very cold, wet rock face :) Hooray for mittens!
