Driving in Firenze...I made it out alive!!

Whatever you've heard about Italian drivers--it's all true! Just kidding..it depends on what you've heard. But if you've heard they are a bit crazy on the road--shall we call it lively? passionate?-- then yes--that is all true. And there I was driving through Florence in a giant VW Van...not a minivan, mind you, a full-sized honking van. And nobody died!! or even got close. Hooray :)

And, since this is now the 4th blog entry of the day---my words are running out..here are some pictures:

 I thought it was cool to see this painting in the unfinished stage--if you look close, there are lots of drips of color. He will then cover them up with paint, but I found the in-between look cool.

We had been getting tired but then realized that we might be able to make it to this church to listen to the Gregorian chant in time--which gave us new energy and allowed us to book it across the city and up the hill. We made it!!!
