So I sorted my pictures for Sweden...and realized that the post-sort batch was still HUGE. So, instead of spending (hours) on making collages, I'll include a dropbox link in Part 2 with some more photos including the things I would have collaged but now won't (I will resist, I will resist... *hard*)
For a summary: Sweden was lovely, amusing + a fun little jaunt into Scandinavia. Now I'll try to pick some highlights.
The departure:
Do parent trucks also give their kids "piggy"-back rides? (It reminds me of a Shel Silverstein poem, where pigs give their kids "people-back rides")
The Kiel Förde (not to be confused with the Swedish fjard or fjords of Norwegian fame):
On the ship:
So, either IKEA isn't making the whole 'Swedish' thing up OR IKEA has now become so influential, that all Swedish ships + things follow IKEA's example :)
My favorite part was the big red dot (OUTSIDE of the ship..under it, in the water?...) marked with "You are here" :D
