The first three months of 2023

There is no particular reason for this post -- beyond wanting to share pictures of our adorable Theta. Here's from the first 3 months of the year. 

This year so far we've been keeping busy with being at daycare, teaching at school and teaching at university, although somewhat unsurprisingly our photographic diary show next to nothing related to these almost daily occupations.

January: We started the year at Weissenhäuser Strand (a resort that has featured here before ;) )

Spent time at the Tierpark:

tickled and laughed hard --

-- and ate broccoli by the head**

February: Last year we were gifted a cool constructor set by F's aunt and uncle. Theta likes to come up with new things for me to build 😃

We went to the Ostsee-Info-Center (Ostsee = Baltic Sea) and got to pet some starfish as well as play a starfish game and learn about marine wildlife and preservation.

I cut my hair again

We celebrated Fasching (or Karneval or Mardi Gras) 

When I painted his face, he then wanted to paint mine 😃

I also painted a clown to play pin-the-nose-on-the-clown :O)

I also drew a house for our tradespeople unit at school (typical for third grade curriculum at Waldorf schools)

And we celebrated F's birthday with ice cream and watching the robot cat waiters 😺

March: And Theta also keeps busy surprising and amusing us:

-- because of *course* this is what you do with a tape dispenser...

And at the end of the day...

**Eating heads of broccoli has become a personal Theta meme. So much so that he was recently gnawing on a head of broccoli and came to me asking to be photographed 😂 (memorable first  in Spain last October + then most recently a few weeks ago)
