Stralsund

During fall break we went to Stralsund for a few days. We saw a lovely cathedral.
Look at that ceiling!
 Hooray for baroque-ness!
 I loved these windows
A glorious organ
 Interesting crests
They had an exhibit about Martin Luther, because we celebrated 500 years since the posting of the 95 theses.
I recreated a pose from several years ago :)
Here were little dioramas of Martin Luther's time
Including him with his 95 theses :)
Here it is from the outside,
Tall pointy things!
A traditional East-German car (Trabi, short for Trabant) -- but a long version!
I think I just thought the name of this place was funny...
Look at me alone on the bench -- these scarves are my friends.. :)
Interesting very tall, narrow towers and windows with bricks
We took a walk in the evening by the lake.
Solar panels on the walls! Huh, I wonder how helpful that is....
And now fish (in fact, we bought some traditional herring from the region.. I just can't remember what it was called). Yum!
