We went to the beautiful Portand Rose Gardens and therefore, do not be surprised when this post is mostly macro shots of roses ;)
My Mom seems to be portraying some sort of
Edward Gorey character, perhaps Neela?

Stop + smell the roses!
(Unfortunately many here were bred for looks and not smell...)
But we kept searching for fragrance as well.
The sun came out eventually -- sun-kissed petals :)
